System Engineer (Storage) (REF4532W)

• Design, implement and manage enterprise storage solutions using NetApp ONTAP, Dell EMC (e.g., PowerMax, Unity), Huawei OceanStor, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and optimize SAN and NAS environments, including zoning, LUN provisioning, replication, and snapshots, leveraging Brocade fibre channel infrastructure.
• Perform storage capacity planning and lifecycle management, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and future growth requirements.
• Develop and maintain data protection strategies, including backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes across heterogeneous storage systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (network, virtualization, applications) to ensure seamless storage integration and performance tuning.
• Lead incident resolution and root cause analysis for complex storage issues, while documenting configurations and maintaining operational procedures.

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in the following areas: Computer science, Engineering or Information Technology or equivalent work experience in IT
• 3+ years of experience in managing and implementing storage solutions
• Hands-on experience with Huawei OceanStor, NetApp ONTAP, and other enterprise storage solutions.
• Expert knowledge about cloud storage (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Strong communication skills and excellent written and verbal communication competences in English language.
