System Engineer

We are hiring a System Engineer to be in charge of running our datacenter operations. Member of an international team (System Administrators, DBAs, System Engineers) your main missions will be to manage the daily running of server operations, application operations and the preparation and launch of new projects.

Requirements

What you will do: 

• Ensure the proper functioning of physical and virtual servers 

• Deployment and configuration of new servers with hardening 

• Correct any operating problems on the servers 

• Ensure the security of our customers' data. 

• Manage our hosted applications operations, in collaboration with our customer support team and product development team 

• Be source of proposal to improve the quality of service provided to Sidetrade customers 

• Anticipate and plan in terms of hardware, software and network the production launch of new clients 

What you will bring: 

• Around 10 years of experience in system/network engineering 

• Experience in Project Management 

• Strong knowledge of Linux, HyperV, VMWare 

• Experience in LAN/WAN networking (VLANs, IP sub netting, 802.1Q trunks) 

• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Windows Server, Entra (Azure AD) and Office 365 

• Interest and skills on the security field 

• Excellent English (spoken and written) 

• Ownership and capacity to work on project model, strong team spirit, adaptability and discretion (respect of data privacy)
