System Engineer (NAS) (REF4531Y)

• Storage Protocols & Networking – Understanding of NAS protocols (NFS, SMB/CIFS) and SAN technologies (iSCSI, Fibre Channel).
• Storage System Administration – Hands-on experience with Huawei OceanStor, NetApp ONTAP, and other enterprise storage solutions.
• Capacity & Performance Management – Ability to monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot storage performance issues.
• Data Protection & Backup – Knowledge of snapshot management, replication, backup strategies, and disaster recovery planning.
• Scripting & Automation – Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash) for automating storage tasks.

• Automation & Optimization – Develop scripts (PowerShell, APIs) to automate backup tasks and optimize performance.
• Documentation & Continuous Improvement – Maintain system documentation, provide training, and stay updated on Veeam innovations for continuous enhancement.

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in the following areas: Computer science, Engineering or Information Technology or equivalent work experience in IT
• 3+ years of experience in managing and implementing storage solutions
• Hands-on experience with Huawei OceanStor, NetApp ONTAP, and other enterprise storage solutions.
• Understanding of NAS protocols (NFS, SMB/CIFS) and SAN technologies (iSCSI, Fibre Channel).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
• Strong communication skills and excellent written and verbal communication competences in English language.
