Now, we are looking for a System Engineer to strengthen our Managed Environment team.
Monitor the health, availability, and performance of infrastructure and cloud services (servers, virtual machines, databases, and networking components).
Respond to alerts, tickets, and incidents; troubleshoot issues and take corrective actions to restore services within defined SLAs.
Analyze monitoring alarms (including outside working hours when required) and escalate complex issues according to established procedures.
Perform server and service administration tasks across cloud environments.
Support implementation, configuration, and verification of infrastructure and cloud setups following approved designs and procedures.
Assist in coordinating and executing infrastructure and cloud changes in line with change management processes.
Utilize monitoring and logging tools to proactively identify potential issues and implement preventive measures.
Perform testing and validation of security mechanisms, backups, and recovery procedures.
Support incident resolution activities, including contributing to root cause analysis and preventive actions.
Assist with cloud migrations and integrations under guidance from senior engineers.
Apply security best practices and support compliance with internal and external standards.
Maintain and update technical documentation, runbooks, work procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
Proactively communicate with clients and internal stakeholders regarding incidents, changes, and service status.
Communicates with the customers on the status of the requests, collaborates with customers on resolutions when needed
Share knowledge with junior team members and support onboarding activities.
Track and record all work activities accurately in ticketing, monitoring, and time-tracking systems.
Stay informed about relevant infrastructure and cloud technologies and suggest operational improvements.
2-3 Years of relevant experience
Bachelor's Degree in relevant filed preferred
Strong knowledge in: VMware (vSphere/ESXi, vCenter),NSX, Veeam
Proven experience in virtualization, backup, and storage domains
Production troubleshooting + working with incidents/tickets
Knowledge of enterprise storage platforms / backup strategies
Learning agility with exceptional drive for development
Strong customer-facing communication (clear written updates, escalations)
