The System Engineer will be responsible for managing, deploying, and supporting cloud-based and on-premises infrastructure. This role involves Kubernetes-based application support, cloud environment management, project deployments (including HA & DR setups), and ensuring SLA compliance for enterprise-scale AMI projects.

Role Summary:
Level 3 Support end to end provides expert-level technical and manufacturer support, responsible for resolving complex, critical issues and supporting backend, cloud, and infrastructure operations across platforms.Key Responsibilities
- Perform deep root cause analysis for complex technical issues.
- Develop, test, and deliver fixes, patches, hotfixes, and upgrades.
- Handle security, performance, scalability, and reliability issues.
- Support major incidents, outages, and critical escalations within SLAs.
- Maintain product documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base.
- Support platform evolution, enhancements, and release activities.
Technical Support & Operations (L3 end to end)
- Provide L3 end to end support for application backend and cloud-related issues.
- Analyze, debug, and resolve client-reported issues within defined SLAs.
- Handle customer issues through calls and end-to-end incident workflows.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential risks.
- Implement preventive measures and performance optimizations.
- Develop scripts to support operational tasks and automation needs.
Typical Technical Tasks
- Perform code-level analysis and debugging.
- Conduct advanced system, OS, and network troubleshooting.
- Deploy security patches and emergency hotfixes.
- Resolve High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) issues.
- Coordinate with development teams and OEMs when required.
Project Deployment & Implementation
- Design and plan network and application architectures.
- Prepare cloud environments and deploy HA and DC-DR setups.
- Deploy, manage, and support Kubernetes clusters and applications.
- Manage Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) project deployments.
- Automate server-side deployment and operational processes.
- Ensure timely issue resolution to avoid SLA breaches.
Cloud & Infrastructure Management
- Deploy, manage, and maintain VM-based cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Tata, NTT, or equivalent).
- Monitor and optimize cloud resource usage and cost.
- Manage cloud access, permissions, and RBAC policies.
- Create and manage cloud and network resources as per project needs.
- Maintain on-premises server and network infrastructure.
- Support UAT, staging, and production environments.
Required skills and qualifications
Required skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Strong experience with Kubernetes cluster deployment and troubleshooting
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or equivalent)
Knowledge of Linux system administration and networking fundamentals
Experience with scripting (Shell, Python, or similar)
Understanding of HA, DR, and enterprise deployment architectures
Familiarity with SLA-driven support environments
Preferred skills and qualifications
Preferred Skills:
Experience with AMI (Advanced Metering Infrastructure) systems
Exposure to multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments
Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools
Experience working in utility or large-scale infrastructure projects
