System Engineer - India

Vizrt are looking for a talented and driven Systems Engineer to join our project delivery team to contribute to the successful implementation of projects to maximise customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership and guidance - serve as customer-facing subject matter expert, ensuring the application of best practices throughout the project delivery lifecycle.
• Ownership of end-to-end deployment of Vizrt solutions, including requirements analysis, system design, configuration, testing, and installation in production environments.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system design and configuration details, operational procedures, knowledge transfer materials, and post-implementation reports.
• Active communication with stakeholders including customers, Vizrt R&D, product and support teams to ensure smooth project deployment.
• Define and implement deployment strategies, rollback procedures and post-deployment verification steps.
• Troubleshoot and resolve deployment issues in development, staging, and production environments.
• Monitor system performance and ensure deployments meet operational standards and SLAs.
• Ensure compliance with security and governance policies during deployment processes.

Tasks and Duties:

• Lead the technical project delivery of Vizrt products and systems.
• Help to build a Customer Success mindset across the organization through effective partnership working, advocacy and professionalism as a member of the Global Services team.
• Ensure the accuracy of time-reporting and other project-related administrative tasks.
• Collect and share enhanced knowledge and customer feedback to support continuous improvement efforts within the organization.
• Assist in project scope development, including effort and expected project life cycle estimation.
• Communication – internal and external, such as project status updates, issue remediation and internal product/issue escalation.
• Analyse and comprehend product changes and new features introduced in Vizrt software releases, even during high workload periods, to effectively communicate updates and their impact to customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Systems Engineering or a similar field.
• Proven experience (5+ years) of working in broadcast IT deploying and managing Vizrt products in production environments.
• Proven experience writing technical documentation including system architecture design, project scope, post implementation and system handover documentation.
• Basic understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure), virtual machine infrastructure (VMware) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools for improved communication skills and workplace efficiency.
