We are seeking Systems Engineers to support a next-generation aerospace and defense program within a highly collaborative engineering environment. This role focuses on system design, modeling, requirements development, verification, and integration for complex, mission-critical platforms.
The ideal candidate has strong systems engineering fundamentals, experience working across hardware and software teams, and the ability to contribute throughout the full system lifecycle—from concept and design through testing and validation.
Responsibilities
Perform systems engineering activities in support of advanced aerospace and defense platforms.
Develop and manage system, software, and subsystem requirements.
Define and document internal and external system interfaces.
Allocate system requirements across engineering disciplines.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, software, and integration/test.
Support technical documentation, requirements traceability, and verification efforts.
Create test plans, test procedures, and test reports.
Execute integration, verification, and validation (IV&V) testing activities.
Participate in technical reviews and engineering assessments.
Qualifications
Active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
Strong knowledge of systems engineering processes, requirements development, and documentation.
Experience with system verification and test planning/execution.
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional engineering teams.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools (CAMEO preferred).
Experience developing software requirements and collaborating closely with software engineers.
Background in system and software design, integration, and operational testing.
Programming experience in C, C++, Python, or similar languages.
Experience working with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS).
Familiarity with complex aerospace, defense, or mission-critical systems.
