Primary Responsibilities

  1. Requirements Gathering & Documentation

    • Work closely with business users and SMEs to gather, define, and document business and functional requirements

    • Translate business needs into functional specifications for IT teams

    • Support business process modeling and design in collaboration with operations

  2. Liaison Role

    • Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams

    • Ensure alignment between user needs and technology solutions

  3. Project Lifecycle Management

    • Lead scope management, traceability analysis, and validation of requirements throughout project lifecycles

    • Drive creation of standardized documentation and tools

    • Assist with operational rollouts and provide support post-deployment

Additional Duties

  • Coordinate closely with tech and ops teams internally and externally

  • Document detailed technical and business requirements and proposed solutions

  • Support UAT and SIT efforts, including planning and execution

  • Participate in release cycles and ensure readiness across business functions

  • Communicate clearly in writing and speech, especially around business needs and specifications

  • Be capable of both independent work and collaborating with globally distributed teams

  • Analyze, improve, and document business workflows

Requirements

Key Must-Haves

  • Strong Experience With:

    • Interest Rate Swaps

    • Bonds

    • Hedge Accounting

  • Work Experience: 7–10 years of relevant experience

  • Financial Domain Expertise: A solid understanding of structured finance and a willingness to deepen that knowledge

Ideal Candidate Traits

  • Self-driven and detail-oriented

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills

  • Comfortable working across both business and technical domains

  • Enthusiastic about financial products and systems (swaps, bonds, accounting standards)

  • Experience in structured finance, regulatory reporting, or risk management tools is a plus
