ABOUT THE ROLE

In this role, you will work closely with an established operations team to review, optimize, and partially automate existing processes, ensuring long-term stability, scalability, and reduced operational load. This position is well-suited for a senior Windows professional with strong production support experience, process-oriented thinking, and exposure to enterprise environments.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide support for Windows Server environments running business-critical output applications

• Analyze existing operational processes and proactively optimize and automate them where feasible

• Support deployment, maintenance, patching, and lifecycle management of Windows Servers

• Troubleshoot complex incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes

• Collaborate with application teams, infrastructure teams, and security stakeholders

• Ensure system availability, performance, and compliance with security standards

• Create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures
  

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 6 years of professional IT experience (mandatory)

• Previous experience in consulting, managed services, or enterprise support environments is highly valued

• Several years of hands-on experience in Windows Server administration

• Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments in production (installation, configuration, patching, troubleshooting)

• Experience working in enterprise-scale infrastructures

• Structured, process-driven mindset with the ability to improve and standardize operations

• Knowledge in IT security

• Scripting and automation skills (e.g. PowerShell)

• Experience with monitoring, backup, virtualization, or ITIL-based environments

• Willingness and readiness to travel as required by project or client needs is expected. This may include occasional domestic or international travel, sometimes on short notice.
