We are now seeking a System Administrator to join our TechOps team, focusing on internal IT infrastructure, including Linux servers, networking, and supporting our engineering and business teams.

You will

  • Evaluate, plan, and execute the systems modifications and new systems introduction
  • Support Sonalakers in any IT-related issues
  • Constantly supervise the functioning of systems supporting company operations
    • Performing required upgrades
    • Monitoring of performance
    • Anomaly detection
  • Administrate systems and manage servers
    • Installation of development and test environments based on Linux
    • Maintaining the environment, and responding to incidents
  • Automate processes to improve maintainability
  • Be a part of the team responsible for ISO/IEC 27001
  • Create and maintain documentation of processes

You may be fit for this role if you

  • Are a good communicator in English - both written and spoken (B1/B2 level)
  • Are based near Poznań, and can work from the office 2 days/week
  • Can troubleshoot issues in a variety of OS environments including Linux, macOS and Windows
  • Have experience in services and servers administration (virtualisation, containerisation, managing backups)
  • Have practical knowledge of networking (HTTP, DNS, SMTP, TCP/IP ) 
  • Have experience using monitoring solutions (e.g. Zabbix)
  • Have a strong customer focus and ownership
  • Are comfortable working in a diverse and international team
  • Have hands-on experience in some of the platforms and tools we are using: scripting (Bash, Python), Docker, Git, CI/CD (e.g. Jenkins), Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence)
  • Have experience creating and maintaining process documents

Nice to have:

  • Experience with administration of cloud services like AWS, GCP, Azure
  • Experience assessing security risks of system changes and vulnerabilities
  • Knowledge of databases like Postgres, MySQL
