This position is ideal for engineers who enjoy solving technical challenges, building reliable systems, writing clean maintainable code, and continuously learning modern backend technologies.
What You'll Do:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend applications, APIs, and services.
- Build scalable and reliable systems for data processing and platform features.
- Develop secure RESTful APIs for internal and external applications.
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL/MySQL and MongoDB.
- Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and QA teams to deliver features end-to-end.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following engineering best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and performance improvements.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
- Work with Docker and containerized development environments.
- Support cloud deployments and production systems.
- Troubleshoot issues and help maintain system reliability.
- Participate in on-call rotations when required.
What You'll Bring:
- Strong programming skills in Python or Java.
- Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in backend software engineering.
- Experience building backend services, APIs, and scalable applications.
- Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design.
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL and MongoDB.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed systems concepts.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Hands-on experience with Docker; Kubernetes knowledge is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced engineering environment.
