About the Role

As a Mining Specialist, you will play an important role in shaping Victaulic’s position in Western Australia’s mining market — driving growth, innovation, and customer success in one of Australia’s most critical industrial sectors. In addition, you will:

  • Identify and pursue sustaining capital and MRO opportunities within operating mines across WA (iron ore, gold, lithium, nickel, rare earths, and critical minerals).
  • Build strategic relationships with owner engineering, maintenance, and procurement teams to drive specification and adoption of Victaulic solutions.
  • Maintain a comprehensive pipeline of sustaining capital projects and recurring MRO demand.
  • Collaborate with regional sales and specification teams to align targets and capture long-term revenue growth
  • Provide technical expertise on Victaulic systems and solutions to drive revenue generation.
  • Review site standards, piping specifications, and maintenance scopes to recommend Victaulic alternatives for improved performance and lifecycle cost savings.
  • Assist in site trials, testing, and field support for key customers and contractors.
  • Work closely with Victaulic’s internal engineering, specification, and operations teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
 
About You
 
To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Proven experience in mining, maintenance, or capital project sales (preferably in piping, mechanical, or industrial systems).
  • Proven track record managing technical sales and project development in operational mining environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent technical discipline
  • Strong understanding of sustaining capital project workflows, MRO budgets, and shutdown planning cycles
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and adapt to challenges
  • Excellent stakeholder management and presentation skills
  • Solution-oriented and high analytical and organizational skills.
  • A valid Australian Driver’s license and willing to travel as required.
