Position Overview:     

As a Survey Crew Technician at JBPro, you will support a surveying crew in collecting accurate field data critical to the success of various projects. Reporting to a Surveying Crew Chief, you will contribute to North Florida’s infrastructure development while gaining valuable hands-on experience in the surveying field. This is an excellent opportunity to build a strong foundation for a career in surveying and land development.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist the Surveying Crew Chief in the collection of field data for a variety of projects.
• Perform physical tasks such as clearing brush, driving stakes, and digging holes to support surveying operations.
• Use tools like surveyor's chain, level rod, range and prism pole, plumb bob, and tripods to facilitate data collection.
• Safely transport crew members and equipment to project sites by operating trucks or boats, as needed.
• Maintain and organize survey equipment to ensure operational efficiency.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to learn the technical aspects of surveying and grow within the role.
• Ability to perform physical labor outdoors for extended periods.
• Dependability and punctuality to meet project timelines.
