Surgical Manager (EEU & Distributer Markets)

TLDR

Drive the development of PRESERFLO MicroShunt in the EEU cluster while mentoring Surgical Partners and ensuring achievement of regional sales targets.

What you will do

  • Drive the development and adoption of PRESERFLO MicroShunt in the EEU cluster (incl. as well selected countries in DMK cluster e.g. Slovenia, Croatia, Greece).  
  • Coach, supervise and mentor the Surgical Partners to strengthen market impact and to provide personal development.
  • Achieve personal, country sales targets. Precisely track countries and SPs performance. 
  • Ensure proper reporting to EMEA Surgical Management, Head of EEU & Local CM in accordance with country needs.  
  • Identify and report local risks and opportunities and coordinate plan to address them. 
  • Work with local functions (local 3Ms) to develop strong Country plan to support PFM growth and development. 
  • Work with Country Manager on Tender Management as a peer-to-peer cooperation 
  • Act as primary point of contact for EMEA 3M and cluster CFT. Coordinate all necessary activities in accordance with the Annual Country Plans.   
  • Coordinate monthly national sales forecast collection and analysis of monthly actual sales performance. 
  • Initiate and develop sustainable relationships with key opinion leaders across the country.  
  • Define and set up SPs annual sales target in collaboration with EMEA Sales Director. 
  • Set up annual MBO and ensure proper follow-up as needed.  
  • Lead and support the team of Surgical Partners to achieve sales targets, build strong customer. relationships, and expand the use of PFM in their area.  

What you will bring to the role

  • At least six years of previous sales experience in the medical device industry.
  • Experience in hospital sales/Key Account Management is preferred.  
  • History of top sales performance, commercially astute and driven by sales results.
  • Experience in the operating room for training / supporting the use of new technologies.  
  • Experience in Ophthalmology desirable.
  • Experience in leading an international team.
  • Degree in health or business-related subject or equivalent qualification.
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal, as well as at least in one local languages of the EEU cluster countries.
  • Action-orientated, energetic and results-driven. 
  • Proven sales, negotiation and networking skills.      
  • Ability to effectively communicate with internal stakeholders, external customers, and key opinion leaders to convey product information, sales strategies, and foster positive relationships.
  • Capability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, Sales Partners (SPs), and other stakeholders to achieve common goals and drive business success.
