About the Role:

We are seeking a Support & Marketing Associate with a passion for startups and entrepreneurship to join our team. 

You will have the opportunity to see entrepreneurship and venture capital from many angles, and work for a company with a small and mission-driven team. 

This role is 100% remote, and will require a Sunday-Thursday workweek.

Key Responsibilities:
 
  • Customer Support & Engagement: Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries, offering personalized assistance and proactive support.
  • Assist with Program Admissions: Review applications to FI incubation and acceleration programs, and follow best practices for acceptance.
  • Improve the Customer Experience: As our “feet on the ground”, your ideas will play a critical role in our ability to improve our customer experience.
  • Host Live Q&A Calls: Host scheduled Q&A sessions with customers, addressing their concerns and providing expert guidance on our products/services.
  • Host Info-Session Webinars: Conduct and facilitate informative webinars to educate customers on key topics, program qualities, and best practices.
  • Improve Conversion & Retention:  Coordinate with the design and product teams to improve the usability and conversion of the website and overall conversion rate optimization (CRO). Coordinate with the marketing team on initiatives to increase conversion and retention.
  • Improve Site and Email Copy: Update and improve copy across our marketing materials to properly address the changing needs of our customers.
  • Maintain Organized Documentation & Processes: Track customer interactions, document frequently asked questions, and provide feedback to improve processes.

Qualifications and Skills:

Required:

  • Willing to work a Sunday-Thursday schedule
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Business-level fluency in English
  • Comfort in hosting live calls and webinars
  • Internet and computer-savvy

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of startup accelerators and the startup/ venture capital industry
  • 2+ years of professional customer service and/or marketing experience
  • Experience using Google Suite, Powerpoint, Excel, Canva, Mailchimp, and various online CRM and marketing tool
