The Support team at Pixlr plays a vital role in maintaining the productivity of all departments by ensuring that infrastructure, systems, and user devices function smoothly. The Job:

  • Technical Support & Troubleshooting
    • Research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues.
    • Diagnose and troubleshoot account setup, network configuration, and OS issues.
    • Provide support for end-user device setup and system access.
  • Infrastructure Maintenance
    • Administer and maintain the company’s servers and IT infrastructure.
    • Perform regular backups, archiving, and disaster recovery procedures.
    • Install and upgrade system software and network equipment.
  • Corporate Services & Operations
    • Oversee and maintain services such as email systems, phone systems, and domain name registration.
    • Respond promptly to infrastructure alerts and escalate unresolved issues.
  • Documentation & Asset Tracking
    • Document technical knowledge and SOPs in manuals or internal notes.
    • Assist with asset management, including tagging and inventory tracking.

Requirements

The Person:

  • Possesses a Diploma / Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Studies or equivalent. 
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as Technical Support Engineer, Desktop Support Engineer, IT Help Desk Technician or similar role.
  • Understanding of networking concepts, user access controls, and basic cybersecurity hygiene.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
  • Possesses hands-on experience with Windows, macOS, Linux environments.
  • Have a good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products.
  • Positive, proactive and has a service-oriented attitude with strong communication skills.
