Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive intern to join our supply team at Ferryhopper, based in Athens. In this role, you will support the Supply team, which manages relationships with ferry operators and drives commercial performance across markets. The intern will be immersed in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the company's growth and learning about the intricacies of the ferry transportation industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Research & Market Analysis: Conduct thorough and targeted research to support strategic decisions, identify new opportunities, and monitor market trends
- Reporting: Compile and analyze data to create insightful reports. Provide insights to support commercial decisions and growth initiatives
- Promotions Support: Collaborate with the supply/marketing and technical team to develop and implement promotional strategies. Help in organizing and executing campaigns aimed at increasing Ferryhopper’s market presence
- Partner Support & Outreach: Support communication with existing ferry operators and assist in onboarding or reaching out to potential new partners
- Operational & Ad-hoc Tasks: Help organize internal processes within the Supply team and support day-to-day tasks in a dynamic environment
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant field (e.g., Business, Marketing, Tourism, Maritime, Communication).
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong team player, comfortable working across different teams and stakeholders
- Proactive mindset with a willingness to take ownership and suggest improvements
- Interest in commercial roles, partnerships, and the travel industry
- Ability to thrive in a quick-moving organization and adapt to varying daily tasks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in English is mandatory; additional language skills in Italian, Spanish, Croatian, or Greek are highly advantageous.

Remote & Hybrid Policy:
- Athens-based teams: The policy is to visit the office a minimum of once per week.
