We’re seeking a detail‑oriented Supply Planner to support day‑to‑day purchasing, vendor coordination, and inventory planning across our product lines. This role is highly tactical and execution‑focused—ideal for someone who thrives in the operational details, keeps suppliers accountable, and ensures materials and finished goods are available to meet production and customer demand. Experience with NetSuite is a major plus but not required for the right candidate.
Requirements
Purchasing & Order Management
- Create, issue, and manage purchase orders for packaging and finished goods.
- Track open POs and follow up with suppliers to confirm ship dates, resolve delays, and expedite when needed.
- Maintain accurate lead times, MOQs, and cost data to support planning and budgeting.
- Reconcile discrepancies between POs, item receipts, and vendor invoices.
- Support cost updates and item/vendor record maintenance.
Inventory & Supply Planning
- Monitor inventory levels and consumption to ensure adequate supply for production and customer demand.
- Identify potential stockouts, delays, or excess inventory and recommend corrective actions.
- Provide supply constraints and replenishment insights to support demand planning.
- Prepare weekly supply status updates for internal teams.
- Assist with cycle counts, adjustments, and root‑cause analysis of variances.
Vendor Coordination
- Communicate regularly with suppliers, packaging vendors, and co‑manufacturers to confirm availability, lead times, and delivery schedules.
- Track vendor performance metrics such as on‑time delivery, scrap, and responsiveness.
- Support onboarding of new suppliers by gathering documentation and validating data.
- Escalate supply risks early and collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues.
Logistics & Operations Support
- Coordinate inbound shipment details with logistics and warehouse teams (delivery windows, packing lists, documentation).
- Support freight booking and communication with 3PLs as needed.
- Help resolve receiving discrepancies, damaged goods claims, and inventory mismatches.
- Provide supply‑related inputs for production scheduling and co‑manufacturer planning.
Systems & Tools
- Maintain accurate purchasing and inventory data in the ERP system.
- Build or update basic reports and trackers to support visibility and planning.

NetSuite experience is a strong plus—especially with purchasing, inventory, and saved searches—but not required.
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in supply planning, purchasing, or operations—ideally within CPG.
- Strong understanding of component lead times, packaging complexity, and co‑manufacturing workflows.
- Excellent attention to detail and comfort managing large volumes of data.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for planning and reporting.
- Experience with 3PLs, freight partners, or co‑manufacturers is a plus.
- NetSuite experience is highly desirable but not a deal breaker.
