Role Summary
Fanatics Collectibles is seeking the first core member of APAC’s Supply Chain Strategy & Planning team to establish the region’s end-to-end planning, orchestration, and coordination capability. This role is critical to operationalizing the defined APAC network and operating model—by building structured planning frameworks, enabling integrated demand–supply alignment, and designing scalable end-to-end order and inventory flow logic across markets. Acting as the regional planning and coordination layer, the role will align China, Japan, and Rest of APAC under a consistent operating model—ensuring clarity in planning assumptions, inventory positioning, and flow orchestration—while tightly integrating global supply (US/EU) with regional and local execution. The scope is intentionally focused and high-impact for a first hire: supporting network go-live and planning structure in 2026, while establishing the foundation for a scalable APAC planning organization.
Key Responsibilities
Network Implementation & Flow Orchestration
- Support rollout and stabilization of the APAC distribution network, ensuring nodes operate as an integrated system rather than standalone entities
- Define and implement end-to-end order and inventory flow design (global → regional hubs → markets → customers), including routing logic and node interaction
- Continuously optimize network flows, routing, and inventory positioning to balance cost-to-serve, service levels, and lead times
Planning Foundation & Regional Coordination
- Establish the initial APAC planning and orchestration layer, defining core planning logic, decision principles, and visibility across demand, supply, inventory, and transportation.
- Drive regional alignment across APAC markets (China, Japan, Rest of APAC) to ensure consistency in planning assumptions, inventory positioning, and flow decisions.
- Act as the key bridge between global (US/EU) supply planning and APAC execution, supporting structured planning discussions and trade-off decisions.
Integrated Planning (Demand, Supply, Inventory & Transportation)
- Support development of foundational planning capabilities across the end-to-end value chain, focusing on high-impact areas to enable efficient and scalable execution.
- Demand & Supply: Align commercial demand with global supply and APAC-local production
- Forecast & Capacity: Partner with APAC Sourcing and OEMs to align forecasts with capacity and identify constraints
- Inventory: Define regional strategies (positioning, pooling, rebalancing) aligned with GTM/Sales allocation
- Transportation (Analytical): Establish planning logic across international, intra-APAC, domestic, and OEM inbound flows
Strategic Initiatives, PMO & Performance Management
- Lead PMO and analytics for key APAC supply chain initiatives (network rollout, flow design, planning capability build)
- Define and track core KPIs across service & launch, inventory health, cost-to-serve, and flow efficiency, and build visibility tools to enable performance management
- Deliver data-driven insights and trade-off analysis to support leadership decision-making
- Drive cross-market coordination across APAC, ensuring alignment on priorities, execution, and issue resolution
What We’re Looking For
- 4–7 years of experience in supply chain planning, strategy, consulting, or business operations
- Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain concepts (planning, inventory, network, logistics)
- Proven analytical and structured problem-solving capability (modelling, scenario analysis preferred)
- Experience in cross-regional coordination or planning environments is a plus
- Ability to operate in ambiguous, build-from-scratch environments
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
The above list of job duties is not exclusive or exhaustive and the post holder will be required to undertake such tasks as may reasonably be expected within the scope and grading of the post.
