JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a highly competent person to manage end to end Supply Chain process at our busy Citywest office. The role will encompass full overall responsibility for ensuring timely product supply to market including demand planning, supply planning, logistics, inventory all while collaborating with Internal & external stakeholders. This is an excellent opportunity to join Richmond’s Supply Chain team and manage one of the most crucial functional areas at the heart of one of Ireland’s most exciting FMCG businesses. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

General:

  • Managing an 18-month rolling forecast in collaboration with National Account Managers spanning retail, wholesale & on trade channels.
  • Analysing brand performance and developing insight to guide relevant stakeholders.
  • Driving forecast review forums internally and externally while championing Forecast Accuracy improvement across the business.
  • Managing Inventory Levels-Minimising Stocks Outs & excess Inventory.
  • Developing & Implementing Supply Strategies while building strong working relationships with our Brand Principal SC teams.
  • Coordinating warehousing & logistics, managing shipments & optimising Inbound Schedules.
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams (sales, marketing, operations) and external partners (suppliers, distributors & logistics providers).
  • Reporting & Analysis-generating reports, analysing data to identify areas for Improvement and presenting insights during weekly & monthly meetings.
  • Becoming an Integral part of the NPD planning process-ensuring alignment of supply capabilities with product design & launch timelines.
  • Supporting the other supply chain functions and cross functional colleagues when require.

 

 KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Relevant experience in supply chain, demand planning, logistics, procurement or related areas ideally within an FMCG environment.
  • Third level degree in relevant discipline
  • Strong analytical, problem solving & decision-making skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools, such as Navision, SAP & Excel.
  • Ability to work effectively in teams and collaborate with various departments and stakeholders.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and implementing process improvements and efficiencies.
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
