In this role, you will take on a key responsibility in The Supply Chain & Purchasing Coordinator is the primary guardian of our inventory replenishment and supplier reliability. Reporting to the Commercial Ops and Supply Chain Manager, you will be at the center of our operations, ensuring that demand is accurately converted into Purchase Orders (POs) and that all orders arrive at our hubs on time, complete, and in good quality.
This is a high-impact and proactive role that involves reviewing and validating data, resolving logistics issues in real time, and working closely with suppliers to maintain margins and reduce waste, while supporting our ongoing efforts to drive business success and improve customer satisfaction.

What you’ll do
- Demand Validation & PO Management
- Human-in-the-Loop Ordering: Utilize internal ordering tools to review suggested quantities.
- You will audit these numbers against real-world factors (seasonality, promotions, trends) to issue accurate POs.
- End-to-End Purchasing: Create, validate, and issue POs via our ERP/ordering systems, ensuring 100% accuracy in SKU counts, pricing, and delivery dates.
- Order Revisions: Rapidly adjust orders based on changing stock levels or supplier availability to prevent "Out of Stock" or overstock scenarios.
- Supplier & Hub Coordination
- Order Lifecycle Oversight: Proactively track orders from issuance to delivery. You are the first line of defense against late deliveries, short shipments, or "no-shows."
- Disruption Management: Act as the primary point of contact for Hub teams. If a truck is late or an order is short, you troubleshoot the solution immediately to ensure van loading remains unaffected.
- Performance Tracking: Maintain manual and automated trackers to ensure delivery schedules and inventory data are live and accessible to all stakeholders.
- Process Improvement & Troubleshooting
- Root Cause Analysis: Identify patterns in supplier failures or data inaccuracies and propose improvements to our internal ordering logic.
- Waste Mitigation: Directly impact the P&L by ensuring accurate ordering of short-shelf-life goods, reducing product loss (waste) and improving contribution margins.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Category Management and Production to coordinate product delists, new introductions, and transitions.
What you’ll bring
- Experience: 2+ years in Supply Chain or Purchasing. Experience in Food & Beverage or eCommerce with short-shelf-life goods is highly preferred.
- Analytical "Sanity Checking": You don't follow tools blindly. You can spot a "weird" number, investigate the cause, and flag it before the order is sent.
- Resilience & Communication: Exceptional English fluency with the confidence to follow up firmly with suppliers and navigate fast-paced logistical challenges.
- Technical Savvy: High proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets. Familiarity with ERP systems, Shopify, or data tools (Looker, Big Query) is a plus. A desire to learn basic SQL is highly encouraged.
- Detail Obsession: You take pride in "clean" delivery schedules and zero-error Purchase Orders.
