As a Supply Chain Planner, you play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of production activities. You are responsible for coordinating production priorities, managing administrative tasks, and supporting quality assurance across the supply chain. Working closely with operations, quality, and commercial teams, you help maintain our high standards for service, traceability, and product quality.

Production Planning & Coordination
· Set and adjust production priorities based on demand, inventory, and supply availability
· Create and issue production orders and monitor progress
· Ensure accurate administrative processing of production results
· Lead and participate in weekly production meetings
Quality & Documentation Oversight
· Review production outcomes and ensure they meet internal and external specifications
· Assess and validate analysis certificates, including microbiological and bioanalytical reports (e.g. ginger analysis)
· Evaluate incoming raw materials and final product quality in cooperation with QA
Issue Resolution & Efficiency Improvement
· Identify and resolve production issues and disruptions quickly
· Prepare and negotiate damage claims with suppliers and partners
· Analyse production costs and propose efficiency improvements
Procurement & Cost Management
· Purchase auxiliary production materials as needed
· Negotiate production tariffs with co-packers and check related invoices for accuracy
Cross-functional Collaboration
· Serve as the first point of contact for production-related queries from internal departments
· Support new product development projects from a production planning perspective
· Align closely with sourcing, quality, and commercial teams to ensure supply chain continuity and performance
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Food Technology, Business, or a related field
· Relevant experience in production planning or supply chain within the food or ingredient sector
· Strong administrative and organisational skills with a proactive, hands-on attitude
· Comfortable with ERP systems and production documentation (traceability, batch records, etc.)
· Familiarity with quality control processes and food safety certificates (microbiological and bioanalytical reports)
· Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments
· Fluent in Dutch and English.
