SUMMARY OF POSITION

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead our integrated supply chain, production planning, and warehouse operations in our lean manufacturing facility specializing in modular home construction. This role combines strategic supply chain management with production planning coordination and hands-on warehouse oversight to ensure seamless material flow, optimal inventory levels, and efficient production support that keeps our assembly lines running smoothly in our fast-paced manufacturing environment.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead supply chain strategy and execution across purchasing, production planning, logistics, and warehouse operations.
  • Develop and manage production schedules based on sales forecasts and customer demand, ensuring materials and components are always ready for build.
  • Oversee supplier partnerships — sourcing and negotiating contracts for key materials, fixtures, and modular components while maintaining top quality and cost efficiency.
  • Optimize inventory and warehouse flow using lean principles, ensuring just-in-time delivery to production lines and 99%+ accuracy.
  • Champion continuous improvement through lean tools such as 5S, Kanban, and value stream mapping to streamline operations and reduce waste.
  • Collaborate across teams — working with Engineering, Production, and Quality to resolve material, logistics, and BOM challenges.
  • Lead and develop your team, driving performance, accountability, and safety within the supply chain and warehouse functions.
  • Analyze and report KPIs to monitor performance, cost savings, and operational efficiency.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or Business.
  • 5+ years of experience managing supply chain operations in a manufacturing environment, with construction or building materials, modular/prefab manufacturing experience.
  • Proficiency in ERP and WMS systems (SAP, NetSuite, or similar).
  • Advanced Excel and strong analytical, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Deep understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s Degree (MBA or Supply Chain) or professional certifications such as APICS CPIM, SCOR, or Six Sigma.
  • Experience with modular construction methods, building codes, specs, DOT regulations, and sustainable material sourcing.
  • Previous experience implementing lean manufacturing systems in warehouse environments.


Working Conditions

  • Manufacturing facility environment with occasional warehouse floor presence required.
  • Standard business hours with flexibility for supplier coordination across time zones.
  • Occasional travel to supplier locations and industry trade shows (up to 15%).
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and navigate warehouse environments safely.

  • Salary $95,000-$110,000, based on experience
