Supply Chain Manager

• Complete daily Gemba walks to get a physical understanding of the interface with SCM
• Oversee daily work of Warehouse Operations, Material Planners, Production Planners and Buyers
• Coordinate with cross functional leadership in Program Management and Operations for daily tasks
• Oversee the formalized build out of a Supply Chain Management division in a company that has not historically had one
• Build out of formal SCM team in Warner Robins, Georgia and coordinate the integration of Utah and Georgia Supply Chain operations to set a corporate Supply Chain standard
• Handle personnel problems as they arise
• Uphold and cultivate team culture, including strong accountability while maintaining morale and an autonomous workforce Demonstrate a deep understanding of Supply Chain theories and principles
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Education/Training (both required and desired): 

• Bachelor’s Degree in management or other relevant discipline required
• Additional experience may be substituted for an advanced degree

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience leading a diverse team of professionals
• Experienced and knowledgeable in Logistics, Import/Export, Warehouse operations, inventory management, material/production planning and strategic/tactical purchasing
• Experience with Microsoft tools (Power Automate, Power BI)
• Microsoft Office fluency
• Technical writing experience or knowledge is a plus

Security:

• Must be a US citizen
• Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required

Physical Requirements

• Able to assess, install, and modify equipment, and inspect machinery
• Able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, grasp and reach with hands and arms, handle and operate hand/power tools and machine controls
• Perform frequent wrist, hand, and finger movements
• Prolonged periods of standing while operating machinery
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including wearing appropriate safety gear (e.g., eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, etc.) for the assigned task
• Able to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds at a time
