TLDR

Support day-to-day logistics and supply chain operations in a global biopharmaceutical environment, gaining hands-on experience in clinical and commercial supply chain activities.

The Supply Chain & Logistics Intern will support day‑to‑day logistics and supply chain operations within a global biopharmaceutical environment. This internship provides hands‑on exposure to clinical and commercial supply chain activities, including shipment coordination, cold chain logistics, documentation, and cross‑functional collaboration with planning, customer care, and quality teams. The intern will contribute to real operational work while developing foundational skills in pharmaceutical supply chain and logistics.

Key Accountabilities

Logistics & Shipment Coordination

  • Support planning and coordination of inbound and outbound shipments of clinical and commercial materials
  • Assist with scheduling deliveries and tracking shipments with freight forwarders, couriers, and 3PL partners
  • Help prepare and review shipping documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and dangerous goods documentation

Compliance & Cold Chain Support

  • Support Good Distribution Practice (GDP) compliance activities
  • Assist with maintaining temperature‑controlled shipment records
  • Monitor temperature logs and support investigation of shipment deviations (e.g., temperature excursions or delays)
  • Assist with documentation related to deviations and CAPAs under supervision

Data, Systems & Reporting

  • Update logistics systems and internal trackers with shipment and inventory data
  • Support basic reporting and data analysis using Excel

Cross‑Functional Exposure

  • Work with Clinical and Commercial Supply Chain teams to understand end‑to‑end supply chain operations
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain Planning and Customer Care teams to support demand, inventory, and customer fulfillment activities

Education and Experience

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Comfortable working with Excel and learning new systems (e.g., SAP)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross‑functional teams
  • Interest in logistics, supply chain operations, and the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry
