Ventus Executive Solutions is seeking a skilled Supply Chain Economics & Critical Materials SETA to support an innovative defense program. The OPEN program develops technologies to illuminate critical materials markets, enabling improved decision-making, enhanced supply chain resilience, and protection of U.S. national security interests. You will provide strategic economic analysis and technical guidance, with emphasis on industrial organization, commodity markets, and supply chain economics. This role is ideal for a candidate who can bridge economic theory, quantitative market analysis, and technical innovation to support high-impact national security research programs.

Work Location: Onsite: Arlington, Va.

Part-Time

Travel: <10%

Clearance: Active Top Secret required (SCI eligibility)

Required Experience 

  • Experience in economic analysis, with demonstrated expertise in commodity markets, supply chains, or industrial economics.
  • Strong understanding of market microstructure and price discovery mechanisms.
  • Experience conducting quantitative analysis and working with economic or econometric models.
  • Ability to interpret and synthesize complex datasets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Active Top Secret clearance.

 

Desired Experience 

  • Experience supporting the Department of Defense or within a relevant U.S. Government environment.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skill set.
  • Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field.
  • Doctorate degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance
