About the Role:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Supplier Quality Manager to join our team. This hands-on leadership role requires flexibility and a proactive approach to supplier quality management, ensuring high standards and continuous improvement within our supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical and disciplinary management of employees in the supplier quality department.
- Responsible for supplier development and complaints management.
- Support system and process audits at suppliers and customers, including follow-up and implementation of corrective actions.
- Control and manage escalations effectively.
- Provide support in project launches and change management concerning quality issues.
- Analyze KPIs and create quality reports for management.
- Oversee the product sampling process and APQP for purchased parts.
Your Qualifications:
- Completed engineering studies or a technical apprenticeship with further qualification as a technician.
- Several years of professional experience in the automotive or automobile industry (e.g., quality, production, logistics, or purchasing).
- In-depth knowledge of common quality tools and standards (IATF16949, VDA6.3, SPC, FMEA, APQP/PPAP).
- Practical experience in conducting audits is desirable, ideally with auditor certification.
- Strong proficiency in Bulgarian and business-fluent English.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
