Supplier Quality Assurance Leader

TLDR

Manage the Supplier Quality Assurance team by overseeing supplier assessments, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and leading corrective action plans for nonconformance.

Acting as first point of contact in any topics related to Supplier Quality Assurance team in China
Contributing to the supplier assessment and selection processes (carry out audits, assessment missions, ensure the correct application of the applicable requirements by the suppliers)
Monitoring and assuring quality of purchased components and material in series production.
Coordinating Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCAs) dealing with nonconforming product.
Leading improvement plans with suppliers and provides support to the supplier in understanding the requirements
Performing various administrative activities related supplier quality information in the company’s ERP system
Managing Supplier Quality Assurance team in terms of recruiting additional team members, performance evaluation and overall direction
Reporting directly to Quality Manager located in Green Cell headquarter

At least 4 years of experience in similar position i.e. Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer (required)
• At least 1 year of experience in leading small team (required)
• Fluent English both oral and written (required)
• At least technical Bachelor’s degree
• Readiness to travel to suppliers (mainly Shenzhen, Dongguan area and Guangdong province)
• Strong background in quality assurance related to electronics production process (required)
• Knowledge of the batteries production will be strong asset
• Strong capability of measurement of the electrical parameters and verification of compliance of product with producer specification (must have)
• Knowledge of basic quality documentation (SOP, Control Plan, Control Instruction, AQL)
