Position Summary
This position oversees daily yard and trucking operations to ensure safe, efficient, and accurate workflow. This role manages shipping and receiving documentation, verifies equipment quality and readiness, and serves as the primary liaison between the yard, sales, and service teams. The supervisor supports equipment maintenance needs, ensures telematics are properly installed and monitored, and maintains delivery trucks to legal and company standards. This position provides day to day oversight of all operational activities outside of sales and service to keep the branch running smoothly.
Position Duties/Responsibilities
- Oversee yard operations- Completing shipping and receiving documents with 100% accuracy
- Acts as a quality control agent ensuring Serial #, hours, fuel levels and any other needed information is accurate.
- Acts as primary contact between the sales counter and yard office.
- Works with service supervisor on any mechanical deficiencies
- Oversees trucking operations- ensuring delivery trucks are well kept and stocked appropriately- legal requirements are upheld.
- Works with service supervisor to ensure that telematics are installed on all appropriate equipment.
- Monitors telematics and reports on any negative reports. Communicating with sales or service depending on the situation
- Provides daily oversite on any activity that doesn’t fall under sales or service responsibilities.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Typically responsible for leading, coordinating, and monitoring the work of others who perform the same type of work as this job. Lead responsibilities typically include training, checking the same type of work of others, and ensuring supplies and materials are available.
Position Requirements
Required:
- High School Diploma
- 2+ Years of supervisory experience
- 5+ years of technical/mechanical professional experience
- Valid Drivers License
Preferred:
- 3+ years of experience with caterpillar equipment and technology
- Previous professional experience with DOT rules/regulations
- 5+ years of supervisory experience

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure, deadline driven environment.
