Working within an established GSOC for our international client, the Supervisor will oversee and manage daily operations, ensuring the security and safety of our client's global assets, personnel, and facilities. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, critical thinking, and the ability to coordinate and communicate effectively across various teams and regions.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise a team of security operators during assigned shifts, ensuring efficient and effective performance.
  • Monitor real-time security alerts, incidents, and emergencies across global facilities, and initiate appropriate responses.
  • Coordinate with various security teams, including on-site personnel, law enforcement agencies, and third-party vendors to manage security incidents and escalations.
  • Maintain situational awareness by reviewing security reports, analysing trends, and providing timely updates to management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement security protocols, procedures, and training programs.
  • Develop and implement robust travel safety protocols and guidelines, ensuring the well-being of personnel during business travel.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with external partners to enhance the organisation's incident response capabilities.
  • Utilise advanced security technology, including CCTV, access control systems, and incident management software, to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Provide guidance and support in complex security situations, making quick and informed decisions to mitigate risks.
  • Conduct regular shift briefings and debriefings to ensure smooth transition of responsibilities between shifts.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying areas for process enhancement and implementing best practices.
  • Prepare comprehensive shift reports detailing incidents, responses, and recommendations for future actions.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in security operations, with a demonstrated track record of leadership and team management.
  • Proficiency in using security technology, incident management software, and communication systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective coordination and reporting with an international audience.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with diverse teams and adapt to dynamic situations.
  • Knowledge of global security trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
