Rockland Immunochemicals, Inc. offers an internship program designed for outstanding university students aspiring to careers in biotechnology and animal science. We are currently seeking 4 candidates for lab-based and vivarium positions.



Program Details



Interns will be assigned to mentors and specific departments based on their skills, knowledge, and interests. Throughout the program, participants will gain experience in project and time management while collaborating with team members.

 

Key responsibilities may include:

  • Assisting with inventory management and product manufacturing
  • Developing, testing, and implementing biological manufacturing processes
  • Contributing to process improvement initiatives


At the conclusion of the program, each intern will deliver a presentation summarizing their key learnings and how these experiences relate to their academic and professional aspirations.



Application Guidelines and Requirements



  • Applicants must be enrolled in an active degree program related to Biological Sciences, Large Animal Science or Agricultural Systems Management.
  • A commitment to the defined work schedule is required.
  • Preference will be given to candidates who have completed two or more years of a degree program.
  • Previous intern participants may reapply; mentor evaluations from prior internships will be considered during the selection process.

 

Our 2026 summer internship program will run from June 2nd to August 6th.

The hours are 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Tuesday – Thursday.
