THE ROLE

We're looking for a talented and motivated Tech Sales Intern to join our team for Summer 2026! As a Tech Sales Intern, you'll support our sales efforts by helping us identify and engage developer-focused teams that could benefit from Pinata. You'll learn how SaaS companies build a pipeline, qualify opportunities, and communicate technical value while working closely with our team.

This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in SaaS sales, strengthen your communication skills, and contribute directly to revenue-driving work. You'll be a part of Pinata from day one.

This internship is remote, with the option to work from our local office in Omaha, Nebraska, for 1-2 days per week. The internship dates are Monday, June 1, 2026, through Friday, August 7, 2026.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

    1. Prospect and research accounts: Identify companies, developer teams, and potential use cases that align with Pinata's products and ideal customer profile.
    2. Support outbound efforts: Help draft and send thoughtful outreach messages (email/LinkedIn), test messaging, and track outcomes.
    3. Learn the product & communicate value: Familiarize yourself with Pinata's platform and articulate its benefits in clear, customer-friendly language (no coding experience required).
    4. Leverage a CRM: Log activities, update contact/account details, and keep pipeline notes organized and accurate.
    5. Collaborate cross-functionally: Work with the team on marketing efforts, social media, messaging, and events.

MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS

    • Currently enrolled in a college or university pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Management, Entrepreneurship, or a related field
    • Graduation date of Fall/Winter 2026 or Spring/Summer/Fall/Winter 2027 (You must have at least one semester remaining)
    • Interest in B2B sales, business development, partnerships, or SaaS (prior internship, campus org leadership, or part-time work counts!)
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, comfortable reaching out to new people
    • Organized and detail-oriented, able to prioritize and meet competing deadlines
    • Comfortable learning basic technical concepts
    • Commitment to a full-time internship from Monday, June 1, through Friday, August 7, 2026

  • Experience with any CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.) or sales tools
  • Exposure to developer tools, startups, Web3, cloud products, or APIs (through classes, clubs, projects, or personal interest)

Pinata Compensation Philosophy At Pinata, we compensate our team fairly and consistently by analyzing market data and benchmarking to ensure equitable, unbiased compensation. In accordance with pay transparency laws, Pinata provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired and performed in the United States. For the United States only, our salary range for this role is $30/hour.
