Join our Civil-Transportation Team as a Summer Intern and gain hands-on experience working on real-world projects that impact communities. As part of our team, you’ll work on dynamic projects involving roadway design, traffic engineering, urban mobility, and sustainable transportation systems. Whether analyzing data, developing designs, or supporting project management, you’ll gain valuable insights into the civil engineering field while building the foundation for a successful career.
The Milhouse Summer Internship program will begin in early June 2026 and end around mid-August 2026.
What you will do:
Perform engineering design to client and regulatory requirements.
Prepare project documents plans and reports utilizing CADD.
Data entry into various platforms.
Organize and maintain project files.
Perform calculations and analysis.
Prepare design calculations using appropriate tools and/or software.
Prepare cost estimates and analyze material costs.
What we are looking for:
Completion of two years or more of engineering classwork at an ABET accredited institution.
Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
Ability to execute efficiently within a time sensitive deliverable schedule.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Able to plan and organize daily tasks effectively.
