Ursa Major’s Summer 2026 Internship Program offers students the opportunity to gain real-world experience in the aerospace and defense industry while contributing to meaningful, high-impact projects that support our mission and drive innovation in propulsion and advanced manufacturing.
As the Additive Manufacturing Engineering Intern, you will support laser powder bed fusion part development and production at Ursa Major. You will learn and apply metal 3D printing knowledge by supporting the daily team operations by preparing build files, operating LPBF machines, supplementary equipment and post processing builds. The AM Intern will apply learnings from the everyday process to the design, modeling, and printing new support/modeling strategies and contribute to a comprehensive design guideline and geometry library.
