ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Real Deal is seeking a Subscription Sales Manager to lead and scale revenue across our growing portfolio of paid subscription products.
This is a senior, individual contributor hands-on Sales role focused on B2B subscription growth, enterprise-style licensing, and consultative selling to real estate professionals, institutions, and corporate clients.
You will work closely with executive leadership, marketing, editorial, and product teams to refine go-to-market strategy, shape product positioning, and accelerate subscription adoption across the industry.
PRODUCTS YOU WILL SELL:
Legislative Tracker – a new premium subscription offering that tracks legislation and regulatory developments impacting the real estate industry, provides in-depth policy reporting, and includes a series of email newsletters, webinars and live events to help RE professionals stay on top of developments that shape their business.
TRD Data – the go-to intelligence platform for real estate professionals, combining verified property records, live transaction feeds, market dashboards, interactive maps, and industry rankings — all powered by The Real Deal’s proprietary research.
Corporate news subscriptions – bundled licenses of The Real Deal’s core content subscription, available in enterprise-sized bundles of 10+
YOU WILL:
Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through contract execution, renewal, and upsell
Prospect, qualify, and engage and close senior decision-makers across real estate firms, developers, lenders, investors, law firms, and advisory businesses
Build and manage a sales pipeline to ensure a constant stream of sales and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
Manage sales activity, pipeline reporting and revenue forecasts using our CRM system
Collaborate with marketing and product teams to refine positioning, pricing, packaging, and sales materials
Deliver on sales targets, forecasts, and KPIs tied to recurring revenue growth
Provide market feedback to inform product development, feature prioritization, and retention strategy
Represent The Real Deal at industry events, conferences, and client meetings
YOU HAVE:
5–8+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in subscriptions, SaaS, data, media, or information services
A proven track record of selling recurring-revenue products and multi-seat or enterprise licenses, with proven year-over-year growth
Experience closing deals ranging from tens to hundreds of thousands of dollars annually
Strong consultative selling skills and the ability to clearly articulate product value to sophisticated audiences
Experience managing pipelines, forecasting revenue, and working within CRM systems
Comfort collaborating cross-functionally with marketing, editorial, and product teams
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
Real estate industry experience preferred
