Job Description:

In this position as a Power Platform Subject Matter Expert, you will design, develop, and optimize applications and reporting solutions that drive business impact. The ideal candidate will leverage Microsoft Power Platform tools, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint, and Dataverse, to deliver scalable, user-centric solutions. This role blends technical expertise with analytical thinking to improve processes, enhance reporting, and provide actionable insights. In this position, you will:

  • Build and enhance applications, workflows, and reporting solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint, and Dataverse.
  • Translate business requirements into functional solutions that streamline processes and improve data-driven decision-making.
  • Design, configure, and implement scalable web applications and reporting tools to support enterprise initiatives.
  • Develop comprehensive system documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), to ensure consistency and knowledge transfer.
  • Identify critical dependencies and troubleshoot technical challenges, implementing effective solutions to ensure system reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, estimate efforts, and prioritize enhancements.
  • Support deployment activities and conduct post-deployment reviews to monitor system performance and address issues.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of direct experience with MS Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, Dataverse, Power BI) and Business Analysis.

Desired Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint, Dataverse), Data Analytics, and Data Visualization.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams, with strong collaboration skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, with a focus on efficiency, performance optimization, and system reliability.
  • Experience with system design, configuration, implementation, and familiarity with SQL, Azure, or other cloud platforms.
  • Relevant certifications are highly desirable, including: Microsoft Certified Power Platform App Maker Associate (PL-100), Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300), Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400), Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900), and Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP).

At Blake Willson Group, we believe in transparency and fairness in compensation practices. For this position, we offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $135,000 in the United States. Your individual salary within this range will be determined by various factors, including but not limited to your education, experience, skills, and geographic location.
