We are looking for a Studio Manager to oversee the daily operations of the content studio, ensuring all technical and production activities run smoothly and efficiently. This role combines strong organisational capability with solid technical expertise to deliver hands-on camera work, studio coordination, equipment maintenance, and production support.

You’ll play a hands-on role in production, operating cameras during shoots to capture high-quality footage and coordinating the technical setup for each session, including lighting, audio, and camera configurations. The position also supports live broadcasts, ensuring reliability across both live and recorded content. Responsibilities include managing media cards, tracking footage, and delivering it to the appropriate teams for ingest. You’ll also assist in developing race day rundowns and coordinate the preparation and submission of daily race day APRA reports.

Collaboration is key, as you’ll work closely with producers and on-camera talent to meet set requirements and maintain smooth production workflows. You’ll troubleshoot equipment, software, and data management issues proactively, ensuring minimal disruption. Close coordination with post-production teams ensures assets are handed over efficiently and accurately.

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in live television studio operations.
  • Live camera, audio and lighting setup for studio
  • Strong technical knowledge of video production equipment and workflows • Ability to manage multiple productions and maintain a high level of organisation.
  • Experience supporting live broadcasts or multi-camera setups is highly desirable
