Studio Assistant/Stylist

TLDR

Support studio operations, coordinate workflow for photography shoots, manage inventory, and assist with styling products to uphold the HBX brand aesthetic.

Responsibilities:
Studio Operations
  • Provide administrative support to the studio and the broader team.
  • Coordinate and manage workflow schedules, ensuring smooth day-to-day shoot operations.
  • Handle product preparation for photo shoots, including packing, unpacking, steaming, and organizing.
  • Assist photographers and stylists on set during shoot days.
  • Maintain the studio inventory system, including product borrowing, tracking, and returns.
  • Support basic accounting tasks such as expense receipt management and petty cash logging.
  • Creative & Styling
  • Research and source props and styling items online and off-site to support shoot concepts.
  • Assist in styling products for e-commerce, editorial, and social content shoots.
  • Help maintain a consistent visual standard aligned with the HBX brand aesthetic.
  • AI-Assisted & Digital Workflow
  • Assist in reviewing and quality-checking AI-generated content outputs
  • Support the cataloguing of shoot assets in studio management systems and content trackers.
  • Maintain basic familiarity with tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Capture One
  • Flag inconsistencies or errors in AI-assisted outputs and communicate feedback to senior team members.
  • Content & Social Support
  • Assist in the production of short-form video.
  • Support the social content calendar by preparing materials and props ahead of content shoots.
  • Stay up to date with fashion, streetwear, and social media trends to inform styling and content direction.
  • Requirements:
  • Strong passion for fashion, streetwear culture, and visual storytelling.
  • Friendly, collaborative disposition with the ability to build relationships across teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
  • High attention to detail and a natural eye for quality.
  • Basic understanding of AI tools used in creative production (e.g. image upscaling, generative AI, AI copywriting assistants) is a plus.
  • Comfort using digital tools and platforms; willingness to learn new software quickly.
  • Fresh graduates passionate about photography, styling, and fashion e-commerce are encouraged to apply.
  • Prior experience or internship in a fashion studio, e-commerce platform, or creative agency.
  • Hands-on experience with AI image tools such as Claude, Gemini, Adobe Firefly, or Midjourney.
  • Familiarity with content management or project tracking tools.
  • Basic video shooting or editing skills for social content.
