We are currently looking for a dedicated Student Worker, for our Costumer Support Engineering team, where we work with upgrades, updates and optimizations of our already installed systems around the globe

Gain valuable experience in a global organization
As a Student Worker, you will be joining our Customer Support Engineering team, who are developing and designing state-of-the-art solutions for customers across the globe, giving you the opportunity to see complex systems take form, bringing together electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and software. Your responsibilities will be, but are not limited to:

  • Updating and creating new copies of all cable drawings, as well as submitting the drawings to BESD (BEUMER Group System Designer).
  • Adding or replacing all symbols in electrical drawings with BESD symbols, including BESD attributes and connectors.
  • Updating or creating electrical specifications for symbols, as well as electrical drawings with new BESD RDS's.  
  • Ensuring the BESD output matches the previous database output and adjust any discrepancies.

The tasks may evolve over time, however, these will be the initial responsibilities.

Your profile 
As a person, you are an excellent communicator, and you possess strong problem-solving skills. Additionally, you are self-driven, and you take responsibility for your assignments. Moreover, we imagine that:

  • You are currently pursuing a bachelor's degree, and preferably halfway through your education within Marine Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • You have some experience with AutoCad, or the willingness to learn, in terms of navigation and use of commands.
  • You have experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • You are proficient in English, both written and spoken.

The job is 10-15 hours weekly on-site. A start date as soon as possible is preferred.
