We are looking for a passionate, self-motivated and relentlessly curious Student Worker - Detection Engineering (M/F/D) to join the VMRay Labs Team.
Improve VMRay's detection capabilities through the creation and maintenance of VTIs (our proprietary detection rules for malware and Phishing), URL detonation logic, Adaptive browser simulation rules
Implement data collection and monitoring tools to discover potential problems with an existing detection and aid in the creation of new ones.
Proficient with Python programming language and its ecosystem (tooling, best practices, etc.), basic knowledge of C programming
Solid problem solving skills
Interest in Phishing and Malware techniques
Familiar with JavaScript is a benefit
Familiar with ELK stack would be a nice to have
Very good written and spoken English
