Student Marketeer - The George Washington University

TLDR

Support the Field Marketing Manager by integrating Red Bull into student life through innovative marketing strategies and relationship building on campus.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Represents Red Bull at their university by living and breathing the Red Bull personality traits and company values.
Spots trends and identifies opportunities to integrate the brand by conducting market and campuses researches.
Develops and executes targeted sales and marketing plans to meet the needs of consumers in their fields.
Collaborates with Off & On Premise Sales to maximize sales and distribution, in the bull’s eye and bull ring.
Establishes and maintains relationships with universities and individuals, including key opinion leaders on and off campus to keep the brand desirable.
Ensures a positive and credible Red Bull brand image is delivered amongst the consumer by continually activating creative, innovative and daring initiatives (including social tactics), and moment based hacks which are locally relevant.
Maintains a dynamic mix of projects, activities and event involvement always with social and digital media at the heart of what we do.
Continually seeks opportunities to develop Red Bull’s brand profile, image and credibility on and off campus.
Creates, maintains and grows the strongest brand that consumers are passionate about and can relate too.
Contributes to the infusion of Red Bull into student life - a ‘lifestyle choice’ to be continued post university.
Drives the entrepreneurial, innovative and creative implementation of Red Bulls’ marketing mix on and off campus.
Completes the communication and reporting tasks associated with the Student Marketer role in a timely manner and with accuracy.
Achieves set goals and meets all deadlines.
Delivers executional excellence and shows love for the details in all areas of their role.

2nd, 3rd or 4th year University Student.
A strategic thinker who takes initiative and ownership and “makes things happen”.
Leadership, motivation and team skills, solution oriented.
Strong written and verbal communication, Project Management Skills, and familiar with Microsoft Office.
Understanding the core scenes in the region and has strong networking skills.
Excellent communication skills, including presenting.
Passionate and energetic personality, Friendly, open-minded and approachable, Professional and autonomous.

The hourly rate for this position is $19.25/ hour. The hourly rate is subject to change and may be modified.
