Quartus is a key contributor to aerospace advancements, specializing in engineering simulation and custom hardware. We are looking for Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Structural Engineering students interested in working in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment and who are excited about assisting on a variety of projects to join our growing team. Some examples of projects students have worked on in the past include design, analysis, software & control systems development, prototype development and/or testing of satellites, aircraft structures, launch vehicles, composite UAVs, cell phones, telescopes, and opto-mechanical laser and camera assemblies.
o Work alongside engineers to contribute to the advancement of projects, including conducting research and gathering data
o Participate in the design process by creating drawings, models, or simulations. Assist in analyzing designs
o Help in hands on assembly and building prototypes of designs
o Support in conducting tests to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement
o Assist in documenting project progress, including creating reports, drawings, and specifications. This may also involve maintaining records of test results and design changes
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers from different disciplines, as well as project managers and other stakeholders
o Work on troubleshooting and solving engineering problems as they arise
Position is based on site in Herndon, VA.

Intern/Co-op pay range for students pursuing a Bachelor's degree: $24.00 - 28.00/hour*
Intern/Co-op pay range for students pursuing a Master's degree: $28.00 - 32.00/hour*
*This range represents base pay. In addition, you may be eligible for additional benefits and compensation.
