About the Service

Our client is seeking an experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join their Stroke Occupational Therapy team. This role involves working within an inpatient stroke setting to provide specialist rehabilitation and support for patients recovering from stroke. Community stroke experience will also be considered.


About the Role

As part of the Stroke team, you will:

  • Deliver occupational therapy interventions to patients in an inpatient stroke setting.
  • Complete comprehensive functional assessments and develop tailored rehabilitation plans.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective discharge planning.
  • Promote independence and optimize patient outcomes through evidence-based practice.

Requirements

  • HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Experience in stroke rehabilitation (inpatient setting desirable; community experience considered).
  • Strong understanding of stroke pathways and rehabilitation strategies.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
