Strategy & Planning Intern (2026 June - 2027 January), CNBC

Experience critical team operations at CNBC and contribute to winning business through proposals and client services while receiving extensive training early in the internship.

OVERVIEW

The Strategy & Planning Intern will have the opportunity to experience work across two teams that are critical to our success:

Partnerships Strategy Team: You will work within a team pitching to win new business for CNBC.

Account Services Team: You will work within a team ensuring smooth and timely delivery of advertising campaigns for clients.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Partnerships Strategy Team:

Work with the wider international team to:

  • Develop ideas for proposals for clients across CNBC Editorial, branded content and events.
  • Build compelling pitch decks for presentation to clients.
  • Develop go-to-market decks for CNBC’s wider range of products and services.
  • Research clients, sectors and broader marketing trends to support CNBC’s advertising business.
  • Work on ad-hoc projects to support our Sales teams across both APAC and EMEA.

 

Account Services Team:

  • Capture off-air checks and online screenshots for ad campaigns.
  • Monitor campaign KPIs across TV, digital and social.
  • Create rich-media assets.
  • Assist in building a library of case studies.

You will receive training and coaching for all the above within the first three weeks of the internship period.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • University student currently pursuing an undergraduate degree.
  • Must have the legal right to work in Singapore. Only candidates with existing eligibility to work in Singapore will be considered. 
  • Available for a full time, 6-month internship from June-January 
  • Understanding of contemporary marketing and advertising landscape.
  • Keen interest in business news and current affairs.
  • Proficiency with PowerPoint and similar presentation-building tools.
  • Excellent written, verbal and visual communication skills.
  • Strong collaborative skills and a team-oriented approach.
  • Ability to multi-task and thrive in a high-pressured environment; meet deadlines and effectively prioritise projects.
