As a Manager you will deliver  services to / at client premises on delegated engagement / project whilst being an Engagement Manager with a team to lead.

Key Responsibiliy:

  • Leads  delivery of team based on the SLA and identifies and addresses any areas of concern in outputs
  • Manages engagement/project risk to ensure that the firm’s risk policies as well as risk to client confidentiality is aligned at all times
  • Consistently reviews and analyses standard and quality of team deliverables and implements changes as necessary
  • Meets regularly with client and client teams to understand issues, anticipate needs and address these
  • Selling and delivering innovation, strategy and design projects, preferably with specific industries.
  • Establish a strong leadership brand and inspire their team through passion, integrity, and appreciation of others.
  • Make effective use of resources to optimise value.

  • Manages engagement budget through accurate budgeting, cost control and profitability management

Minimum Qualification

  • Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Human Resources, Marketing, Economics, Business Sciences or related
  • Industry-specific qualifications or an equivalent
  • Whilst not a strict requirement, an MBA or Masters in the relevant field of study is a definite advantage

Experience Required

  • Experience with a Tier-One Professional Services Firm and/or leading blue-chip organisation in related industries
  • 5-8 years working experience including 5 years in a client facing as well as 3 years in a management role with a focus on Strategy, Project Management or Business Development
  • Working experience and deep working knowledge of Namibian economy and landscape
  • Proven experience in 1/more of the customer domains of Sales, Service, Marketing and Commerce

Relevant Strategic Advisory Competencies

  • Experience leading and managing multidisciplinary project teams to deliver tailored strategic solutions across or in chosen industries
  • Minimum of 8 years deep functional knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Corporate strategy, operating model, data and analytics, Digital Marketing, Route to Market, Revenue Growth Management, Digital Commerce.
  • Deep customer domain experience across Sales, Service, Growth, Marketing & Commerce

Technical Capabilities:

  • Expert in field with in-depth industry and business knowledge
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Sales and negotiation skills
  • Proven business developer, sales ability and successful negotiator
  • Ability to manage and execute projects
