Strategy & Business Development Manager (m/f/d)

The Strategy & Business Development team drives impact and innovation within ABOUT YOU in different ways: From leading ABOUT YOU’s key strategic initiatives to become the #1 fashion platform to enabling other business functions along this journey. We’re a diverse team of strategy experts with backgrounds from top tier consultancies, startups, and the industry. We work in cross-functional settings and in close interaction with our senior leadersand report directly to the Management Board.

As our new Strategy & Business Development Manager (m/f/d) you will manage multiplestrategic and operational projects simultaneously. As the project leader you will have end-to-end responsibility for your own projects reporting the results directly to the Management Board, while the Strategy & Business Development team provides all the sparring and support you need. 

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement key strategic and operational projects in cross-functional settings
• Act as a sparring partner for strategic tasks initiated by the Management Board
• Conduct independent and complex analysis and research
• Develop new business fields in collaboration with operational teams
• Communicate and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders
• Identify and analyze relevant KPIs and deduct concrete actions to develop our company

Requirements

• Above average university degree at a top university
• 1-2 years of practical experience in strategy & business development, in a leading consultancy/financial service firm/industry, optionally in a start-up environment
• Stellar analytical skills and distinctive understanding of numbers 
• Strong personality to work in a fast-moving scale-up environment
• Intrinsic motivation to actively drive impact in our business activities
• Quick perception and structured working methods
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and Google Workplace
