About the role 

We are hiring a business operations generalist to build and own our talent function end to end.

You’ll build the processes, standards, and systems that make hiring repeatable as we continue to grow while also being scrappy and hands-on - personally sourcing candidates, conducting early screening interviews, coordinating candidates, and driving decision flow.

On top of recruiting responsibilities (e.g., conducting interviews), you will wear many hats, including growth marketer (using data and experimentation to develop sourcing strategies), operator (building, iterating, and optimizing scalable systems and processes), and brand builder (develop our talent brand through channels like LinkedIn, communities, events, and partnerships).

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and execute on the hiring system across: 
  
  • Sourcing: Identify and engage top active and passive talent.
  • Screening: Screen resumes and conduct initial screening calls to assess candidate qualifications, experience, and cultural fit, efficiently narrowing down the applicant pool for hiring managers.
  • Candidate Management: Ensure an exceptional and engaging experience for candidates at every stage of the hiring process. Coordinate scheduling and candidate communications.
  • Data-Driven Decision-Making & Process Optimization: Continuously refine and enhance our recruitment processes, leveraging data-driven insights to improve efficiency and effectiveness. 

• Grow our talent brand across the tech and VC ecosystem:
  • Execute on marketing campaigns and events across the NYC tech and VC ecosystems
  • Get creative on initiatives to continue building Harmonic's reputation as a magnet for top technical and GTM talent

Role Requirements: 

• 2-5 years of experience in consulting or operating roles at high-growth companies
• Thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments; comfortable moving fast, managing multiple priorities, and being accountable for your work
• Data-driven with a high agency mindset - have a bias for action; take ownership of projects, navigate and resolve challenges, and drive tasks to completion with minimal guidance
• Based in NYC with the ability to come in to our our office in Nomad (36 West 25th Street) 3 days per week

Pay:

Pay Range: $140,000 – $210,000 USD + Equity (flexible depending on level)
