Strategy and Operations Lead

About The Team:

You’ll join Prodigal’s Strategy & Operations team, the consulting and services arm of the company. We partner with lenders (Banks, NBFCs & BNPLs etc.) and debt collection agencies to transform how they engage consumers using data-driven insights and AI-powered workflows. The team sits at the intersection of product, data science, and client operations: designing strategy, building execution pipelines, and running experiments that deliver measurable lifts in recoveries and channel performance..

Role Overview:

As a Strategy & Operations Lead, you will own end-to-end consumer engagement and collections strategy for a portfolio of 3-4 clients. This is a hands-on role where you’ll move from problem identification to strategy design to execution, directly operating workflows across various engagement channels. You will work directly with senior client leaders, including CXOs, owning both strategic outcomes and the relationship. In a span of 6-12 months from joining, you'll have the opportunity to hire and lead analysts to amplify your experience and drive more impact.

Responsibilities :

Strategy:

• Act as a strategic advisor and industry expert to the CXOs of the customers you manage. They will rely on you for advice on what’s best for their business
• Own end-to-end engagement strategy, defining strategies to drive improvements in collections & recoveries, self-serve usage, and consumer experience
• Design structured experimentation frameworks by crafting hypotheses, choosing success metrics, and analyzing results to continuously refine strategy and inform scalable best practices
• Partner with data science teams to shape and operationalize models (e.g., channel affinity, right-time-to-contact, offer logic), ensuring strategies correctly leverage behavioral patterns

Operations:

• Ensure strategies are implemented and working as expected
• Monitor performance dashboards, resolve workflow issues, and ensure campaigns are live, accurate, and compliant
• Develop KPI frameworks to track performance, translating data into actionable insights to drive measurable impact
• Improve underlying processes and systems to increase transparency, attribution accuracy, and speed of iteration, partnering with product and engineering on roadmap priorities

Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics or a related field (preferably from Tier 1 college) with minimum 1 year of experience in consulting (Tier 1 or Tier 2)
• Familiarity with SQL, Python, or other data analysis and scripting tools is a plus
• High reliability and attention to detail
