Strategic Technical Consultant - Clarity
TLDR
Own the technical strategy and implementation of Bloomreach's AI shopping assistant to ensure it delivers measurable value to customers and aligns with their business needs.
- We're taking autonomous search mainstream, making product discovery more intuitive and conversational for customers, and more profitable for businesses.
- We’re making conversational shopping a reality, connecting every shopper with tailored guidance and product expertise — available on demand, at every touchpoint in their journey.
- We're designing the future of autonomous marketing, taking the work out of workflows, and reclaiming the creative, strategic, and customer-first work marketers were always meant to do.
Strategic Technical Consultant, Clarity
We are looking for a frontend developer who wants to work directly with customers, taking design and business requirements and turning them into working Clarity implementations that are properly instrumented and ready to demonstrate value.
As the Strategic Technical Consultant for Clarity — Bloomreach's AI shopping assistant — you will own the technical strategy, implementation approach, and customer experience end-to-end. You will guide customers through trials, onboarding, early adoption, and optimization, ensuring Clarity is deployed correctly, performs reliably, and delivers measurable value.
This is a hands-on technical role where you are the implementer. You own the front-end work yourself — translating requirements into Clarity weblayer implementations, building them to match the customer's brand, and instrumenting them so impact can be measured. You will also help shape the implementation playbook, contribute to the product roadmap, and serve as a technical partner to both customers and internal teams.
Salary starts at 110,000 CZK gross per month for Slovakia, with restricted stock units and other benefits on top. You can work from our Bratislava office or fully remote on a full-time basis.
Your job will be to:
- Lead the end-to-end technical onboarding and implementation of Clarity, including configuration across Bloomreach Discovery and Engagement
- Take customer requirements and implement them in Clarity weblayers using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Build implementations that match the customer's brand and integrate cleanly with their existing site
- Design and implement analytics tracking, event instrumentation, and A/B testing setups so that performance is measurable and optimization is data-driven
- Troubleshoot issues across front-end behavior, analytics, data connectivity, Discovery integration, and weblayer execution
- Translate customer requirements into scalable technical solutions, validating feasibility and surfacing risks, dependencies, and integration gaps early
- Define and continuously refine the Clarity implementation playbook — repeatable patterns, templates, and best practices
- Contribute structured feedback to the product team, identifying friction points and opportunities for product enhancement
- Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and customer success teams to align solution design and technical outcomes
- Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, with the ability to lead a conversation with business decision-makers as comfortably as a technical review
- Serve as an internal subject-matter expert on how Clarity leverages Bloomreach's Discovery and Engagement capabilities
Your success story will be:
- In 30 days, you understand Clarity's technical architecture, the implementation model across Discovery and Engagement, and begin contributing to customer projects as well as identifying areas of friction or improvement
- In 90 days, you independently lead technical workstreams, configure Clarity end-to-end, resolve complex integration issues, and contribute structured feedback to improve the product and processes
- In 180 days, you deliver multiple successful customer implementations, establish repeatable technical patterns, influence roadmap enhancements, and reduce friction in the onboarding process
- In 210 days, you and the team celebrate successful launches and early customer value achieved through your technical expertise, strategic contributions, and foundational work defining the implementation playbook
You have the following experience and qualities:
Professional experience
- Solid hands-on experience as a front-end developer, with strong, current HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills (TypeScript and modern frameworks such as React are a plus)
- Comfortable taking a design — Figma, mockups, or written requirements — and producing a clean, production-quality implementation independently
- Experience integrating front-end code with existing sites and third-party scripts
- Working knowledge of analytics instrumentation, event tracking, tag management, or A/B testing tools, with an instinct for what should be measured and how
- Experience translating non-technical requirements into working implementations
- BS/BTech in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience
Bonus
- Experience with eCommerce platforms (Shopify Plus, commercetools, SAP Commerce, BigCommerce, headless setups) or digital experience / martech tools
- Familiarity with search, recommendation, or personalization platforms — Bloomreach, Algolia, Klevu, Dynamic Yield, Optimizely, or similar
- Exposure to CDPs, tag management systems (GTM), or analytics platforms (GA4, Adobe Analytics, Mixpanel)
- Prior experience in a customer-facing technical role — implementation engineering, technical consulting, solution engineering, or agency delivery
Personal qualities
- Strong analytical and debugging skills, with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve issues across front-end and data layers
- Clear, professional communicator, comfortable explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and guiding them through technical decisions
- Customer-focused, with the patience and judgment to align technical feasibility with business impact
- Highly autonomous, organized, and capable of leading parallel customer workstreams — you are the technical owner on your projects
- Strategic thinker who balances immediate implementation needs with long-term scalability
- Fast learner, adaptable within an emerging and rapidly evolving AI environment
