Denova is seeking for an experienced Strategic Sourcing Project Manager to support a time-bound initiative to define sourcing strategy and enable it through selection and rollout of a sourcing automation platform.

This role is designed as a one-off project engagement, focused on strategic sourcing leadership with hands on delivery support to ensure the strategy is translated into practical tools, processes, and outcomes.

The role is not an IT delivery position. The emphasis is on commercial strategy, sourcing design, stakeholder alignment, and governance, with technology acting as an enabler rather than the core focus.

We are looking for people who can work mid-shift (15:00 - 00:00 PHT).

This role is open exclusively to candidates residing in the Philippines.

Key responsibilities:

  • Define and shape the organization's sourcing strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives, operating models and growth plans.

  • Partner with senior stakeholders to establish sourcing principles, governance, planning models and decision frameworks.

  • Translate strategic sourcing objectives into practical roadmaps, policies and operating guidelines.

  • Demonstrated ability in managing end-to-end sourcing projects, from requirements definition, supplier selection and negotiation, contracting and implementation, to ensure optimal total cost of ownership (TCO).

  • Own the commercial and sourcing input, from defining business requirements, evaluation criteria and supplier comparisons.

  • Proven experience setting sourcing strategy and designing processes, including supporting the adoption of digital tools and automation.

  • Excellent communication skills, confident in engaging with stakeholders and presenting sourcing recommendations clearly and effectively.

  • Solid experience in tracking key milestones and supplier performance to ensure successful outcomes based on the negotiated timeline.

  • Solid understanding of procurement processes, sourcing governance and policy compliance.

  • Comfortable working in a contract-based role with defined timelines and expectations.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related fieldmandatory

  • 6+ years of experience in sourcing and procurement with a strong focus on technology-driven initiatives - mandatory

  • 4+ years of experience in managing procurement projects, with a proven track record in sourcing automation and digital procurement initiatives - mandatory

  • Fluent in English (verbal and written) - mandatory

  • Proven experience managing digital, AI automation and technology integration projects, from sourcing, supplier negotiation, contracting coordination and technology implementation.

  • Strong commercial acumen, with experience in supplier evaluation, negotiation strategy and TCO.

  • Solid project management skills, including planning, managing risks, aligning with cross-functional teams and clear regular progress reporting.

  • Strong innovation drive, project management and solutions design

  • Excellent presentation, communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Proficiency in procurement tools such as SAP S/4HANA, Coupa or similar
